Always treated so well by the staff and Dr. Whitten. I have been going to him for back issues a couple years now and had a new problem spring up over night and they worked me right in and still didn’t rush me one bit. They are life changers and I wold recommend them to anyone and everyone, so thankful there is a good place to go for these kind of problems.

I have chronic pain and was experiencing EXCRUCIATING pain in my upper left thigh region for 3 mths that had gotten worse from time of onset, to the point that NO amount of pain medication, stretching exercises which just made it worse. Dr Whitten performed a procedure and I had instant relief. I was so afraid that once numbing meds., etc wore off it would come back, it DID NOT COME BACK. Because of Dr. Whittens expertise I was able to prepare a nice meal with my
WONDERFUL HUSBANDS' HELP and have my family come over, in small groups, and truly enjoy the Holidays. You are a gift from God, I cannot thank you enough. GOD'S BLESSINGS FOR YOU YOUR FAMILY AND THOSE YOU LOVE. AGAIN YOU are the answer to my prayers, THANK YOU

Friendly intentional staff. Questionnaire helps patient discuss status & list key questions in advance. Awareness of process re: treatment & side effects is key. Still suggest portal to make communication more user friendly.

I first started seeing Dr. W after my rheumatologist suggested that I see him. I have never been to a pain clinic, So I was apprehensive about Pain clinics, and injections. I heard horror stories about people going to different pain clinics. I knew I needed to see someone to help with my hip pain. He was very straightforward with what our plans for pain relief.what it was going to entail. I felt very comfortable. He explained everything in detail. We decided we were going to wait until I had a hip replacement. Then came May 2, I was transported by ambulance for another issue, while paramedics trying to get me into the ambulance they dropped me. I then had three slipped disc in my lower back. I was in excruciating pain. I agreed to have a medial branch block ablation, and I’ve had a few more since. Quite frankly I do not know what I would’ve done without these injections. I was literally in my recliner the whole time I was awake. This doctor has given me a quality-of-life that I cannot ever thank him enough for. This is coming from a person who is deathly afraid of needles. I want to thank him, And his staff they are the best in Lincoln, I will definitely recommend Nebraska pain Institute to all my friends, and family.
