Since the surgery my back pain has subsided incrementally a little bit each week. Mornings and afternoons after work are the worst but even that seems to be improving. Mornings take about an hour for the meds to take effect and in the evenings after I rest for about an hour the pain diminishes a lot. I am noticing that while at work I'm able to do things that a month ago I couldn't do without severe pain, so all-in-all between the meds and the surgery I'm more pain-free than I've been in years. Getting the M.I.L.D. procedure was on of the best decisions I've made in decades. Dr. Whitten is fast and very knowledgeable. I am so very grateful for his skill!! Plus, his staff is friendly, courteous, and patient!! I would, and have , recommended his Nebraska Pain Institute to nearly everyone I talk to.
